equilibreyaum: It's been a little over a year since we connected for the show, Kiara! Are you still focused on helping Black, Indigenous and other women of color heal their Divine Feminine to create mind, body and spirit wellness?
Kiara Norwood: Hi Breya! Yes I am 😊
eqb: That’s great! How do you create mind, body and spirit wellness in your own life?
KN: I first recognize that mind, body and spirit wellness are interconnected. I can’t have wellness in either area without wellness in the others. And then I practice what I preach. Everything I do with clients I maintain a practice of for myself.
eqb: What does Divine Feminine mean to you? What are some ways in which you assist in healing your clients?
KN: Everyone has divine feminine energy and divine masculine energy. Divine Feminine energy encompasses are mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. It houses our intuition, inner guidance, ability to tap into our knowledge of spiritual practice, creation, and manifestation. It helps us to deeply know ourselves and be in healthy relationships with others. I hope my clients to heal this energy, and in doing so give them the opportunity to create mental and emotional well-being, reignite their passions, and increase self-confidence overall.
eqb: As a way to activate your divine feminine power, you now offer in-person retreats and events. Can you talk a little about the first Energetically Aligned Healing retreat you recently did?
KN: Yes, this retreat was an opportunity for some of the women who have built relationships through our EAH sisterhood and group coaching calls to meet in person. We participated in individual and communal healing rituals to facilitate divine feminine healing and mind, body and spirit wellness. We were in northern San Diego for three days and had the opportunity to connect with nature, ourselves, and each other.
eqb: What inspired the first EAH retreat?
KN: I was really feeling called to create a space where women could come together in person to experience peace, sisterhood, and wellness. There have been so many beautiful relationships developed virtually, that I wanted to provide the opportunity to continue to grow and heal in sisterhood in person.
eqb: How can someone join the retreat? What are some of the things attendees can expect to experience?
KN: Our next retreat is planned for the spring of 2025. It is going to be a Reiki training retreat. Participants will get the opportunity to learn Reiki energy healing while also getting to experience nature and develop sisterhood bonds for a lifetime! eqb: How exciting! What is the EAH sisterhood and why did you want to create a space like that?
KN: The EAH sisterhood is a place for women to grow spiritually, receive support, connect practices that are aligned for them, and build relationships with other women.

eqb: What happens during a typical EAH Sisterhood gathering?
KN: We typically catch up with one another and discuss things that have happened during the week. We also have a spiritual or wellness topic that we discuss in which I provide insights and tools and answer any questions.
eqb: What is the most rewarding part of your work?
KN: I love helping women to heal their divine feminine, and in doing so, create abundant lives in alignment with their destinies.
eqb: The last time we spoke you were located in Chicago, now you're in San Diego. Have you changed your practice at all? Do you offer in-person, virtual or both services?
KN: I offer virtual holistic services and webinars/classes. But I also have expanded to begin offering in person retreats.
eqb: What's planned for EAH in 2025?
KN: In 2025, we intend to have more retreats, more webinars and classes, and overall continue to step into our communities and help to create healing.
